Common Areas
Living in a community such as Parkside has its benefits and challenges. We have beautiful property with stretches of green grass and lots of trees. Since our front yard or common space, is shared with our neighbors we need to be mindful of others. The common areas are enjoyed by all and much care is given to its maintenance. These are among the reasons people choose to make Parkside their home. Children have many friends to play with and enjoy the warm summer outside together. It's a great place for children to splash about with their summer water toys, play ball, ride bikes, and meet with friends. Winter brings opportunities to build snowmen, snow forts and even the occasional snow ball fight. With all this fun, children should not be left unsupervised for long periods for their own safety.
We need your help in keeping the grounds looking beautiful from day to day. This means that kids should not climb on trees or hang from the branches, pick flowers, or play in the bark or rocks. Shrubbery beds are not play areas and removal of bark and rocks is never allowed. When treats are enjoyed outside, wrappers should be properly disposed and not left behind to litter our community. At the end of the day, children's toys and bikes should be stored in your home or garage and not left in common areas including shrubbery beds. This includes kiddie pools and other water toys. Walkways should always be clear of all personal items as they are a tripping hazard for all. A good rule of thumb is to ask yourself "what if everyone did this would it be a problem?" If your answer is yes, then it's probably not good. Finally never dispose of any material in the planting beds or lawn areas. This includes potting soils, ashes from BBQs, kitty litter, or anything else. These materials are not wanted or needed in the landscaping. Dispose of properly in dumpsters. Motorized vehicles of all kinds are prohibited on Parkside common areas. With everyone's help we will continue to have a beautiful safe community.
