Door Hardware
In order to protect everyone's property values and maintain the like new look, owners should not replace front door hardware with anything except the same hardware color: Bright Brass or Polished Brass. Original entry door handles are covered by the HOA and will be repaired or replaced upon request at no charge to the owner.
Front door handles that have been already replaced by owners (or their property manager) are not covered and will not be repaired by the HOA.
Door hardware that has been replaced with another color needs to be restored to the approved color at the owner's cost.
Deadbolts may be changed by the owner but the color must be Bright Brass or Polished Brass. In order to match your interior hardware color (referred to as a split color), will usually require a special order from the hardware dealer such as BMC, SunPro, Build.com, or another online vendor.
Door handles require some maintenance and the HOA has a supply of repair parts to keep them working like new. Please contact the HOA maintenance to arrange for repairs if your door handle does not work correctly. Submit a maintenance request or email details to: maintenance@pshoa.net

Door Paint
To maintain the Parkside Community feel & style, front doors must be the original color and match the shutters. If the front door of your home has been repainted to a color that does not match the original, you are required to repaint the door to the original color at your own cost. Please contact the HOA for the color code formula of your original color if you need to repaint your front door.
